BROOKLYN HEIGHTS KIDS COMMUNITY EVENT

Stop by the Brooklyn Heights Crumbs Bake Shop from 11AM to 1PM this Saturday for a fun-filled community event and help support a family in need. Elisa and Nathan Bond, both artists in their 30s and parents of 18-month-old Sadie, were recently each diagnosed with aggressive forms of cancer. Crumbs will donate 100% of the proceeds to the couple and anyone who shows up at the event will get a BOGO coupon for future use. Melissa Munn, the renowned face painter will also be there with a balloon artist to entertain and wow the public. Fun beverages and desserts will also be served. The road ahead for both Elisa and Nathan is long, difficult, and complicated. Between multiple rounds of chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery, all while caring for their young daughter, they face a tremendous challenge that will take energy, commitment, and a deep well of support.
